Earth Day 2024
On April 22, 2024, The Island community came together for a collaborative clean and green event. Residents joined together with the Island Civic Association, G.R. Clark Elementary, Alderman Chris Taliaferro, and Streets & Sanitation for cleaning and greening around the neighborhood. This Earth Day effort made the neighborhood look beautiful and showed the potential of what we can accomplish together. Here are some photos from the day:
